About

My work focuses on identifying and assessing previously undiagnosed ADHD, supporting people with a new diagnosis of ADHD including their adjustment to being medicated (when appropriate), and providing therapy to people with an ADHD diagnosis. I have extensive knowledge of behavioural and cognitive strategies for ADHDers and AuDHDers.

Depending on what you need and want, I’ll adapt the sessions to suit you using an approach to therapy that is supportive of ADHD minds, ADHD thinking styles.

I understand that a diagnosis in adulthood can give rise to emotions including sadness, regret, grief, anger, confusion, embarrassment, disbelief, hope, excitement, and more – along with thoughts and questions. We can explore all this together! Everyone’s journey is unique. My goal is to help you find your path and flourish with the new insights you gain.

Often adult diagnoses come after many years of accrued pain, difficulties, poor choices, other problems, and misdiagnoses. I have the clinical training to address previous traumas, undesirable coping behaviours often from un-diagnosed ADHD (e.g. too much of a good thing like substance use), relationships/attachment history, and commonly co-occuring diagnoses like generalised anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt and depression.

The treatment I provide adheres to evidence-based findings and best practice for ADHDers. Give me a ring and we’ll talk about your needs.
