About
I am the Director of Catalyst Psychology. We are a longstanding practice working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents and adults. The team consists of General, Counselling, Clinical and Ed/Dev Psychologists. We have sites in Knox and Malvern, Melbourne as well as telehealth. Our website is www.catalystpsychology.com.au – which has some information on self-help resources for ADHD under the Resources page.
We work with ADHDers who are children, teens, young adults, and adults providing intervention for executive functioning issues, parenting support, behavioural support, education on ADHD, through to help with self-esteem and mental illness, etc. We provide ADHD assessment for children and teens, as well as assessment for specific learning difficulties, giftedness, Autism, etc.
We all have different therapies we work from. But like me, most Psychologists at Catalyst Psychology use CBT, education, parenting support, interpersonal therapy and behavioural modification, and mindfulness. Other psychologists at Catalyst also use schema therapy and ACT.
I have been working as a Psychologist with children, young people, and parents for over 20 years including those with mental illness and neurodiversity. I particularly enjoy providing parenting support. In addition to my clinical practice, I regularly provide supervision to psychologists working in private, public, not-for-profit, and school-based settings.
