Draft Australian evidence-based clinical practice guideline for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

My sincere thanks to those individuals or organisations that took the time to provide feedback on the draft Australian evidenced-based clinical practice guideline during the public consultation period between 7 March and 10 April 2022.

There has been tremendous interest, and collectively, we are on the cusp of a great achievement. I am confident that due to your valuable input, the guideline will be much improved and will represent a wide range of voices, both professional and lived. The ADHD community has waited a long time for this guideline, and AADPA is excited and privileged to be leading this initiative.

As the public consultation period is complete, we are not able to take any further feedback on the guideline. The draft guideline is no longer available as it will be replaced by the new version which incorporates the public feedback.

It is anticipated that the final guideline will be available from August 2022. We will notify those who made submissions and registered their interest in the guideline via email when this occurs. Information will also be available on this website. We will also notify you of a range of workshops and other initiatives designed to facilitate the ready implementation of the guideline.

Thank you again for your contribution.
