About

Hi, I’m Fiona Alexander, Co-Founder and Co-Director of REACH ADHD Coaching and Consultancy, based in Perth, Western Australia.

After 25 years working as a teacher, I retrained as an ADHD and executive functioning coach. I co-founded REACH with Debbie Hirte to provide practical, strengths-based and evidence-informed support for people with ADHD.

REACH has now grown to a team of six consultants, all of whom are trained teachers with specialist ADHD coaching qualifications. Together, we support children, teenagers, university students, adults and families. Our clients currently range in age from five to 73.

I understand that ADHD presents differently for every person. My coaching begins with getting to know each individual, their strengths, challenges, environment and what matters to them. From there, we work together to develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life.

Coaching may focus on:

  • Understanding ADHD and individual brain wiring
  • Recognising and using personal strengths
  • Planning, prioritising and managing time
  • Strengthening working memory, organisation and task initiation
  • Managing study, work and family responsibilities
  • Building self-awareness, self-compassion and confidence
  • Setting meaningful intentions and identifying achievable next steps
  • Helping parents and families better understand and respond to ADHD

My approach is practical, collaborative and non-judgemental. I aim to help clients better understand themselves, find strategies that suit their individual needs and make meaningful, sustainable progress in their academic, professional and personal lives.

Remember, change happens little by little. When you are ready to begin, the REACH team is here to support you.
