About Dr Roger Paterson

Roger Paterson, MB BS, FRCPsych, FRANZCP, Cert. Child & Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist in full-time private practice. He has been active in the field of child, adolescent and adult ADHD for more than two decades.

Roger been a member of the WA Stimulants Committee and continues to advocate for the multimodal treatment of ADHD within the public and private sectors, for all age groups. He is the published principal author of a world first study showing that dexamphetamine was useful in the treatment of adult ADHD, a long-standing member of the ADHD WA Professional Advisory Board for 22 years, and is a board member of the Australian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA).
