About
Katrina is a registered psychologist in private practice, offering counselling both in person from her Mount Pleasant rooms and online via telehealth. She works with individuals and couples who want to improve their day-to-day experience and quality of life, which often involves developing a healthier relationship with themselves and others.
Katrina has a strong interest in supporting people navigating life with a late diagnosis of ADHD or Autism or who suspect they might. ADHD rarely shows up in isolation; it often appears in the friction points of life such as overwhelm, shame, relationship strain, or exhaustion. For many people, the issue isn’t ADHD itself but how living with it affects their work, home life, and wellbeing. I work with both individuals and neurodiverse couples to make sense of these patterns and to create change that feels realistic, compassionate, and sustainable.
With over 30 years of experience as a psychologist, Katrina brings warmth, perspective, and a capacity to build strong therapeutic relationships in both short- and long-term counselling. Her approach is holistic and integrative, drawing on a range of evidence-based methods to support practical, lasting change.
Katrina’s experience includes working with anxiety, trauma (including complex trauma), relationship difficulties, grief and loss, and challenging life transitions. Supporting individuals in high-demand professions, including police, emergency personnel, and healthcare staff, is a particular interest.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in a clear, relational style. I draw from various approaches including CBT, emotion-focused and systemic approaches, using whatever best fits the person or couple in front of me. Sessions focus on making sense of patterns, improving communication, reducing shame and strengthening emotional flexibility. My goal is to offer practical, meaningful support that leads to sustainable change and help clients live in ways that feels calmer, clearer and a better fit for who they are and how they live.
