Dr Nargess Mazloumi

About

Consultant Psychiatrist and Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) with more than a decade of medical and psychiatric experience across public and private health services in NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

Dr Mazloumi is experienced in adult, child and adolescent, consultation-liaison, inpatient, outpatient and community psychiatry, with established private practice and consultant-level service leadership. Clinical interests include neurostimulation and novel treatments, neurodevelopmental disorders, metabolic psychiatry and women’s health. Experienced in clinical supervision, multidisciplinary collaboration, service development, patient safety and clinical governance.

• Consultant-level psychiatric practice across public and private mental health services.
• Clinical leadership across outpatient, inpatient and multidisciplinary care settings.
• Delivery of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatment programs, including patient selection, protocol adherence and safety monitoring.
• Clinical supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and psychiatry trainees.
• Experience across adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry, community mental health and interventional psychiatry.
• Working knowledge of clinical governance, patient safety, credentialing processes, multidisciplinary care and quality frameworks.
